FT: Argentina 3-3 France, Albicelestes Win World Cup 2022 (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Argentina win the FIFA World Cup 2022 via penalties after playing a 3-3 draw against France, MySportDab reports.

It was a one side game all through which the French were all over the place until Kylian Mbappe changed the game.

First Half Report

The first half had a lot coming from the Argentines who made sure they came out blazing hot against their opponent who were so poor.

Argentina started well on the front foot which saw them doing more of the attacking against their opponent who couldn’t hold things down.

France conceded a soft penalty which saw Lionel Messi stepping up and converting from the spot kick to make the scoreline 1-0 in the 23rd minute of the game.

It wasn’t looking good as Angel Di Maria doubled the advantage in the 36th minute of the game which saw MacAllister setting up the assist to make it 2-0.

So much more happened in the game but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome as the first half ended with Argentina 2-0 France as they headed inside for the break.

Second Half Report

The second half was one which the French were still poor in everything which their coach already made some panic changes.

France were unable to make anything happen in the second half which saw them also unable to break in and get a goal which didn’t come.

Argentina were calm as they controlled everything going on the pitch which gifted them the upper hand knowing they had one leg in the cup already.

A shocker saw Kylian Mbappe getting the opportunity from the penalty spot which saw him convert to make it 2-1 in the 80th minute as his side continued the fight.

The Paris Saint Germain man made it his brace in the 81st minutes of the game which saw them coming back level 2-2 as the game dragged on.

The 90 minutes of the game ended with both teams going for extra time with the scoreline staying on 2-2 after the masterclass from Mbappe.

Extra Time Report

The extra time was another one which had Lionel Messi scoring in the 109th minutes which made the scoreline 3-2.

Kylian Mbappe scored from the penalty spot in the 118th minute of the extra time as it all ended 3-3 with them going for penalties.

Penalty Report 

The penalty was poor from the France players as Kylian Mbappe started the spot kick with a goal but Argentina ended up winning the FIFA World Cup title 4-2.
