Liverpool claimed a victory after coming from behind to beat Leicester City 2-1 thanks to two own-goal, MySportDab reports.
Wout Faes had a bad night all through out as his owngoal was the difference between his side and the Reds who claimed the much needed victory.
First Half Report
Liverpool started the game with a lot of expectations having come from a successful victory during their match against Aston Villa.
It was Leicester City who scored the opening goal in the 4th minutes of the encounter after a nice buildup which saw. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made it 0-1.
The game carried on further with more pressure coming from the home side which resulted in Wout Faes committing an own-goal to make the scoreline 1-1 between them in the 38th minutes.
Another goal from the Belgian defender in the 45th minutes of the encounter saw Liverpool taking a 2-1 lead which changed the entire atmosphere of the clash.
The first half came to an end with Leicester City falling behind 2-1 despite their good start which saw them heading for the 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half started with more coming from Leicester City who knew everything was against them and they needed to comeback.
The match progressed with Liverpool unable to cause any more damages despite seeing more of the ball over their opponent who were looking to make a comeback.
Things were balance as the Leicester City team looked much better than they were in the first 45 minutes which saw them losing control of everything going on the pitch as the game carried on.
More opportunities came but nothing good could come out as it was just wasted without anyone going close to make anything of a goal happen in the game.
The match came to an end with Liverpool snatching a 2-1 victory handed to them by Wout Faes after 90 minutes of football in the English Premier League to end 2022.
