Matt Doherty scored a brace as Tottenham beat Motherwell 4-0 in a friendly match, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was an impressive one for Spurs who had most of their key players away for international duties in Qatar.
Tottenham started well with Dejan Kulusevski netting the opening goal in the 3rd minutes of the game which made things 1-0 as it carried on between both of them.
Motherwell didn’t have much to do in terms of scoring or pressing their opponent who saw more of the ball as Matt Doherty scored in the 28th minute to make the scoreline 2-0.
The Premier League side were unstoppable with more coming from them as made they it 3-0 in the 40th minute of the match which saw Bryan Gil getting the goal.
The first half ended with Tottenham heading into the break with a comfortable 3-0 scoreline against Motherwell who couldn’t make anything happen from their end after 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half was a much better one for the Scottish side who pulled up a much better fight than they did in the first 45 minutes which wasn’t a good one.
Motherwell did well enough making sure nothing get past them in the early minutes which saw them facing a lot of pressure but refused to give into them.
Tottenham continued to enjoy free flow of football with them doing everything in their power to make sure they add to their advantage which didn’t happen as it carried on hitting the one hour mark.
Matt Doherty made it his brace in the 73rd minute of the game which made sure the scoreline increased to 4-0 in fashionable style for Spurs.
The match ended with Tottenham claiming an emphatic 4-0 victory against Motherwell who put up a first in the second half but it wasn’t good enough for them against Spurs.
