Manchester United Coach Erik Ten Hag has now confirmed a shocking update about Jadon Sancho, MySportDab reports.

The Dutch manager has revealed that Sancho won’t return for first-team training until he is physically and mentally ready to play for the club.

Sancho has worked with coaches in the Netherlands during the World Cup break after being given permission his manager Erik ten Hag.

The 22-year-old did not travel for the club’s training camp in Spain after missing England’s squad for the World Cup.

Sancho has turned off his social media accounts since November to focus on the rest of the season and his family.

Ten Hag has talked to the forward about the current situation and did not want to rush him back.

‘I doubt he will be back this week,’ said Ten Hag.

‘We want to him to help us and return back as soon as possible, but I can’t give say exactly when that will be.

‘Sometimes there are so many circumstances. We don’t get the quality level expected and then you don’t know what is causing it.

‘So we are doing everything now to try to get him back there. It’s about him physically and mentally.’

Over the last few weeks, Sancho has spotted at Dutch amateur club OJC Rosmalen.

A video came out of Sancho dribbling around training mannequins at the stadium under the supervision of coaches.

The 22-year-old travelled there after some talks with Ten Hag about his poor form this season.

He has not played since October 22 due to illness and fans are even more concerned about the player after he quit social media.

The Red Devils have denied claims that Sancho got axed from the squad after he missed the club’s mid-season training camp.

On Tuesday, Ten Hag confirmed that there is no exact date for Sancho’s return, and also explained why he missed the camp.

Ten Hag added: ‘He wasn’t in the right condition to be there physically and mentally.’

Sancho has scored just eight goals and provided four assists in 52 matches for Manchester United since his £73m transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
