The Red Devils are also ready to submit another bid for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City are currently leading the race to sign Bellingham, who is now likely to leave Borussia Dortmund.
The Youngster impressed playing for England at the World Cup in Qatar.
United now have a massive challenge to sign one of the best young midfielders in European football.
The Old Trafford club have continued to monitor his development since he joined Dortmund from Birmingham City in 2020.
United came close to signing Bellingham after the youngster and his parents got a tour of the club’s Carrington training base.
The Old Trafford hierarchy will now try again next summer to sign Bellingham by offering him a key role in United’s future.
Earlier this week, Coach Erik ten Hag revealed that the club has promised more transfer funds if the Glazer family sell Manchester United.
United will try to bring in new signings in the summer although they might only sign a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo in January.
However, They have not given up on signing De Jong, who came close to leaving Barcelona to work with his former coach Ten Hag.
Sources believes that United still want a world-class player like De Jong who is the type of player that Ten Hag wants.
