A Shocking video of Cameroon FA president Samuel Eto’o attacking a journalist in Qatar has now gone viral, MySportDab reports.
The clip shows Eto’o leaving Stadium 974 in Doha, after watching Brazil’s win against South Korea in the round-of-16.
At the start, the former Chelsea player looked happy and took photos with waiting fans as he went out of the venue.
Now, a journalist approaches him with a video camera from the right.
The footage shared by La Opinion, shows them talking but a few moments later Eto’o returned and confronted the man.
It remains unknown what he said to make Eto’o angry despite his role as World Cup 2022 legacy ambassador.
However, he still reacted angry and begins to push the man.
Some people around now had to try and stop the situation, but Eto’o chased after the man to confront him again.
Four men tried to hold Eto’o back, but that did not stop him from kicking the man and throwing him to the ground.
The brutal blow gave the journalist some injuries in the shocking incident.
Eto’o was quickly escorted away by security after the incident in Qatar.
An hour before the incident, he was pictured inside the stadium watching the Brazil match.
Eto’o retired from professional football in 2019, after playing in Qatar with Qatar SC.
He is known worldwide for his performances with Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea.
