FT: Brighton 2-1 Liverpool, Reds Crash Out Of FA Cup (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Liverpool crashed out after losing 2-1 against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Emirates FA Cup, MySportDab reports.

A late goal from Kaoru Mitoma ensured the home side were able to make sure they advanced into the next round.

First Half Report 

Both teams had a lot at their mind coming into this match with a full knowledge of how difficult it will be between them.

Brighton and Hove Albion came with a mindset of them coming to take the much needed win knowing it was very possible to make it happen.

Liverpool had to wait until the 30th minutes to score the opening goal of the match which came from Harvey Elliot with assist from Mohamed Salah to make it 0-1.

The game wasn’t far gone before Brighton and Hove Albion scored the leveler which came from Lewis Dunk who was able to bring his side level 1-1 in the 39th minutes of the game.

That goal wasn’t enough motivation for another to come as the first half came to an end with Liverpool 1-1 Brighton and Hove Albion as they both headed inside for the break.

Second Half Report 

The second half wasn’t far from how the first 45 minutes played out with more opportunities on goal coming through.

Liverpool did well enough going forward as they were aiming to make something happen which wasn’t looking easy for them on the pitch.

Brighton and Hove Albion maintained their composure and didn’t give any room for errors despite how hard the match was becoming for them.

A late stunner from Kaoru Mitoma changed the match in the 90th minute plus added time which made the scoreline 2-1 as things carried on.

The match came to an end with Brighton and Hove Albion claiming all three points which push them through at the expense of Liverpool with a 2-1 result.
