Napoli claimed victory in a 2-1 result against Roma in a heated game between both teams, MySportDab reports.
Victor Osimhen scored a beauty in the match which was just good enough to help his side seal all three points after 90 minutes.
First Half Report
The first half started with both teams doing well enough from their end while they push to make sure they score an early goal which didn’t happen.
Napoli were good but couldn’t make good of their opportunities as the match carried on between the both of them which was evenly balance.
Roma were doing exceptionally well until Victor Osimhen scored a beauty which was well controlled and smashed in beating the goalkeeper to make it 1-0.
The goal was well finished but the delivery from Kvaratskhelia was top notch which the Nigerian striker didn’t lay to waste despite how it landed for him on the far side.
The first half came to an end with Napoli taking a 1-0 lead into the break against Roma who couldn’t make anything much happen in the encounter.
Second Half Report
The second half was tight between both teams who did more than enough from their end to make sure something good happen for them.
Roma were so desperate to make something happen in the match as Jose Mourinho had a lot to tell them after heading inside for the break.
The goal finally came in the 75th minutes as Napoli were caught open and Stephan El Shaarawy finished off neatly making the scoreline level 1-1 between them.
It was far from finish as the home side restored their advantage in the 86th minutes of the game which was scored by Giovanni Simeone to make the scoreline 2-1.
Napoli were able to cement the victory 2-1 against Roma which meant they remain number one with 13 points away from second place.
