Bruno Fernandes was on target as Manchester United claimed a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, MySportDab reports.
The Old Trafford club moved to 3rd place behind Manchester City with goals separating them from each other.
First Half Report
Both teams had their moments in the first-half of the match which saw them doing more than encounter to make something happen.
It was Manchester United who opened the game with a lot of work coming from them going forward as they knew getting an early goal will set the match for them to win.
Crystal Palace did well enough keeping the Old Trafford club out as they endured a lot of pressure entering into the half hour mark of the match between themselves.
The goal had to wait until the 43rd minutes which saw Christian Eriksen setting up Bruno Fernandes who was able to make the scoreline 0-1 from a good finishing.
That goal was enough to end the first half with Crystal Palace 0-1 Manchester United which saw them both heading inside for the break after 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half action was on a slow pace as the Reds knew they had the upper hand and just needed to control the tempo in their own favor.
Crystal Palace did more than enough pushing forward but still they couldn’t make anything happen upon how close they came to making a goal for themselves.
Manchester United had dominance but things were a bit shaky anytime their opponent hit them on a break but they did well enough to survive at all time.
There was still no goal happening until a late bullet freekick from Micheal Olise ensured the scoreline leveled 1-1 in the 90th minutes plus added time.
The match ended with Manchester United playing a 1-1 draw Crystal Palace which meant they failed on taking the advantage of moving second place in the table.
