Victor Osimhen scored as Napoli claimed a 0-2 victory away from home against Sampdoria, MySportDab reports.
The game had the home side playing some minutes with one man down after being shown a red card.
First Half Report
The first half had both sides giving their best with Sampdoria doing their best playing against the League leaders on their home ground.
Napoli had the opportunity of taking the lead in the encounter as early as the 6th minute which saw Matteo Politano miss a penalty that could have given them the advantage.
The game carried on with Victor Osimhen making no mistake in scoring a stunner in the 19th minute which was able to give his side the much-needed 0-1 lead as it progressed.
Sampdoria was hit with a blow in the 39th minute of the encounter after a straight red card was shown to Tomas Rincon which saw them playing with 10 players.
The first half ended with that goal from Victor Osimhen which made the scoreline 0-1 in favor of Napoli against Sampdoria as they both headed inside for the break.
Second Half Report
Another 45 minutes of wonderful football from the second half saw a lot happening with one side having a man sent off as it carried on.
Napoli was in control of the game pushing a lot as they wanted to kill things off but failed in all their attempts with Osimhen being one of those with the wasted opportunities.
More importantly, opportunities came for both teams along the way, but none could make anything happen as they stayed with the same scoreline hitting the 60th minutes mark in the match.
Sampdoria did all their best but nothing paid off as they conceded a penalty that saw Eljif Elmas stepping up to make it count in the 82nd minute to make it 0-2.
The match soon came to an end with Napoli claiming a 0-2 victory in the game against Sampdoria after 90 minutes of football played between them.
