Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho has returned to Manchester United first team training, MySportDab reports.
Jadon Sancho was sent by Erik Ten Hag to Holland for an individual training program in November 2022 following shock claims he was not mentally and physically ready to play for the team.
There were concerns about the well-being of the 22-year-old after Erik Ten Hag left him out of Manchester United’s mid-World Cup training camp in Spain.
Meanwhile, after going on a lone training spell in Holland, Jadon Sancho stayed off social media and was yet to return to the team after the World Cup break.
Sancho later returned to Manchester United from OJ Osmalen in Holland where he was on the individual training.
Erik Ten Hag confirmed his return but maintained he was still not ready to play for the team, and will still be placed on the individual training program and monitored.
At Carrington, he was pictured continuing on his individual training and was yet to return to first-team training.
Now, according to the Athletic, Jadon Sancho has returned to Manchester United first team training ahead of the clash against Crystal Palace.
Sancho’s shock dip came as a surprise after a brilliant start to the season under Erik Ten Hag.
He last played for the team against Chelsea in October before the sudden development that ruled him out of Manchester United’s first team.
It is still unclear whether he will be featured in Manchester United’s starting lineup against Crystal Palace today.
Nevertheless, his return is a good development as he will add to the attacking depth and quality of the team.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been unbeaten since returning from the World Cup break, and have maintained a perfect record, including a win over bitter city rivals Manchester City.
They will take on Crystal Palace in their next game, and will hope to consolidate on their top-four push with a win at Selhurst Park.
