Manchester United are reportedly planning a shock move for Harry Kane, MySportDab reports.

Erik Ten is making recruitment of a strong and top striker to play the number 9 role a priority with Harry Kane said to in the radar of the club.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United hierarchy are exploring all possible documentation to initiate a move for the England star.

Meanwhile, there are also reports Harry Kane is open to an Old Trafford move with his current contract expiring at the end of the next season.

Some factor that could help Man United secure a deal with the highly-rated Three Lions star is where Tottenham finishes at the end of the current season.

Chances are that if Manchester United qualifies for the Champions League and Tottenham do not, Harry Kane will likely favor a move to Old Trafford.

As things stand Tottenham does not want to sell the striker and will possibly move for a contract renewal but the likelihood of keeping the striker will be very low depending on the performance of the team in the Premier League.

According to reports, the owner of Tottenham Daniel Levy will not lose Harry Kane for free when his contract expires. Hence, he will potentially slam a price tag of £85million on Harry Kane for potential suitors.

Manchester United are not the only club interested in Harry Kane, Bayern Munich have been linked to the striker, including La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Tottenham have struggled so far this season, with the top-four race proving a bit difficult after Newcastle gatecrash the race.

This will only serve to trigger the move and made Harry Kane opt for an exit.
