Manchester United will have to play without three key first team players for their match against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils face Nottingham Forest in their League Cup semi-final first leg tomorrow but some players won’t be available.
Diogo Dalot remains unavailable after missing the last three matches due to a muscular injury.
Anthony Martial is not also available after missing United’s draw against Crystal Palace and defeat at Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho won’t be rushed back into the team despite not playing since October.
Sancho resumed first team training last week and could play for the Red Devils against Reading in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.
“The players that missed the Arsenal game like Dalot, Martial, Sancho are not available for tomorrow,” Erik ten Hag said.
Casemiro could return back to play on Wednesday after his one-match suspension.
United have not played at the Nottingham Forest stadium since their 8-1 thrashing of Forest in 1999.
However, Manchester United are favourites to win the league Cup this season and end their trophy drought as Newcastle and Southampton are the only teams left in the competition.
“We have not played here for a long time ago,” Ten Hag added.
“I think we like to play in stadiums with fanatic audience, it will be a good atmosphere and even motivate the players to do better.
“We are obviously heading in a good direction, not successful yet because in January you don’t win trophies, in February maybe.
“It’s the best feeling when you win a trophy. And in my career I have won some trophies and it’s great for the fans.
“For some time, Manchester United didn’t win trophies, it’s like ages ago. We are keen to end that and do it again.”
Manchester United have lost two competition finals since their last trophy won in the Europa League in 2017.
