French Ligue 1 giants PSG are closing on talks to sign Morocco international Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG are moving closer to securing a deal for the Morocco international as the transfer window closes in a matter of hours.

Hakim Ziyech is reportedly open to a move away from Chelsea after struggling of recent to break into the team’s starting lineup and has seen his playing time at the club curtailed.

There are good prosoects for Hakim Ziyech if he completes the move to the French Ligue champions.

He will continue to play in the Champions League and will also have an opportunity to join the Parisians in their chase of the Ligue 1 title.

However, it has been confirmed that PSG are yet to launch an official bid for the player as they are currently in talks before finally submitting a bid for the player.

French media outlet L’equipe confirmed talks are on going between the two clubs, and a deal is possible before the transfer window closes.

Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech was reportedly open to a move away from Stamford Bridge since last summer and the interest of PSG will now be a perfect opportunity for him to exit the London club.

There are projections Chelsea may likely increase the price tag of Hakim Ziyech following interest from PSG after the former put up a sparkling performance in the 2022 World Cup leading Morocco to the tournament’s semifinal.

Meanwhile, the price at which the Blues will want to part ways with Hakim Ziyech is unknown, but there are projections it may likely be around £25m

Talks between the two clubs is said to be at the advanced stage as they hope to complete a deal before the transfer window closes.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Chelsea will prefer a permanent move for Hakim Ziyech instead of a loan deal.
