Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to his brace and reunion with old rival Lionel Messi following Saudi All-Stars’ loss to PSG in Saudi Arabia, MySportDab reports.

The former Man United star captained Saudi All-Stars against the formidable PSG in a highly-anticipated exhibition game at Fahd International Stadium.

He was also making his first appearance in Saudi Arabian football after a belated multi-million dollar move to Al-Nassr.

There were promising scenes for Cristiano Ronaldo despite a sudden traction that has gutted his career, driving him off the shores of Europe to an obscure league in Saudi Arabia.

After Lionel Messi put PSG ahead in the 3rd minute, Cristiano Ronaldo equalised for the hosts through a spot-kick.

PSG returned to the lead again despite playing 10 men following Bernat’s red card.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored again still in the first half to bag his brace and bring the scoreline to a 2-2 draw before the break.

Sergio Ramos, Ekitike, and Kylian Mbappe all scored in the second half for PSG while Hyung and Talisca scored for Al-Nassr to settle for a nine-goal thriller, with PSG grabbing a 4-5 win after the final whistle.

After the match, Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded the man of the match after his brace helped the hosts score four against the Ligue 1 giants.

Taking to his social media handle after the game, Cristiano Ronaldo reacted to his brace and reunion with his old teammates, including Lionel Messi.

He wrote, ‘So happy to return to the pitch and to the score sheet!! And nice to see some old friends.

Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi shared pics of their reunion and embrace during the game in their social media pages.
