Wout Weghorst To Manchester United DONE DEAL!

Wout Weghorst will now join Manchester United on a loan deal from Burnley, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Burnley to sign the Dutch forward after they failed in attempts to sign other forwards.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal will cost Besiktas around £3miilion, and will be withheld till the club will find a replacement for the Dutch forward.

The agreement is verbal, implying both parties still have to put finishing touches to the deal and sign documents to have it completed.

The Red Devils have eyed key players to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo after the latter departed the club.

However, they are limited financially in the current January transfer window due to the takeover process that is ongoing at the club.

Hence, they are hoping to settle on loan deals to replace Cristiano Ronaldo at the club.

Before Liverpool hijacked PSV Eindhoven forward Gody Gakpo, Manchester United were among the frontrunners looking to complete a deal for the Dutch forward.

After losing the highly-rated forward to Premier League rivals, they have switched and indicated in signing France World Cup star Marcus Thuram.

The Red Devils were also interested in signing Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix on loan before Chelsea hijacked the deal and landed the Portuguese star at Stamford Bridge.

While Atletico Madrid demanded £9million, Manchester United made a loan offer of £3million which was rejected by the club.

Erik Ten Hag then turned his attention to Wout Weghorst who is currently plying his trade with Burnley.

Now, they have reached a verbal agreement to sign the Dutch World Cup star, but still have to wait for the club to find further proceedings on the deal as Besiktas have to find a replacement to give a nod to the deal.
