Cristiano Ronaldo has stocked up his brilliant start to his career at Al-Nassr with a brilliant assist for the club against Al-Taawoun, MySportDab reports.
The former Manchester United forward, who has come under backlash due to his underwhelming start to his Al-Nassr career, has obviously turned the table on its head.
Cristiano Ronaldo delivered an incredible assist that saw Al-Nassr break a goal deadlock in the Saudi Pro League today.
After a dragging 17 minutes of play which saw both sides fail to find the back of the net, Cristiano Ronaldo helped Al-Nassr put one past Al-Taawoun in the Saudi Pro League game today.
The 38-year-old produced an incredible assist from inside his own half to give Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo received the ball inside his own half after the team successfully won a duel in the middle of the park against Al-Taawoun players.
Instead of charging forward into the Al-Taawoun box, Ronaldo stayed back and delivered a killer and Incredible assist upfront to his teammate Abdulrahman Ghareeb.
Ghareeb then went on a one-on-one with the Al-Taawoun goalkeeper and slotted in a cool finish into the bottom right corner.
The former Manchester United forward, who joined Al-Nassr in a mega deal that made him the highest-paid football athlete in the world, has now contributed to 6 goals for Al-Nassr in two straight matches.
He bagged a four-goal haul in his last game for the club increasing his tally to five goals in four matches.
Ronaldo’s assist came in the 17th minute, giving Al-Nassr the lead.
However, in the 47th minute, Al-Tawoun equalized the game against the run of play.
Late in the 78th minute, Madu scored again for Al-Nassr to restore the lead as the match finally ended in a 2-1 win for Al-Nassr.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s assist is the first he has delivered for the club since joining as a free agent.
