Cristiano Ronaldo’s move was a bit controversial despite making him the highest-paid football athlete in the world.

First, the Saudi government have strict laws on romantic relationships and marriage. Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez are not married although they have kids together.

However, in a shocking move, it was confirmed that the Saudi government were ready to bend its marriage laws to accommodate Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner.

So far, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is enjoying his spell at Al-Nassr and Saudi Arabia.

He has overturned his underwhelming start in the Saudi league to score five goals in four league games, with a four-goal haul against Al-Wehda.
