The number for Emiliano Martinez had an amazing year in 2022 which put him in the pole position of claiming this award which didn’t come so easy.
Arguably the winner can be said did not deserve winning the award fully as other nominees also had an amazing year from their end.
The argument of who deserved the award more is something that does not matter with Emiliano Martinez being confirmed as the winner over the other names.
He is one goalkeeper who was extraordinary for his side in goal despite facing a lot from opponent which he was able to make thing happen with stunning saves.

Thibaut Courtois won everything on club side with Real Madrid including the Club World Cup which is the recent amongst all his titles for 2022.
Martinez have beaten them all to he crown the best FIFA men goalkeeper after an amazing year both for his club and country.
