Manchester City edged out Arsenal in a 1-3 victory at the Emirates Stadium in the English Premier League, MySportDab reports.
The game was one which was accompanied with a lot of controversies coming with VAR and the referee who had some tough call to make.
First Half Report
The first half was top notch with both teams enjoying themselves in what saw them creating good enough opportunities going forward.
Manchester City scored the opening goal of the match which came from Kevin De Bruyne in the 24th minutes to make the scoreline 0-1 as they carried forward.
The away had the upper hand going forward until they committed a foul which resulted in them giving a penalty to their opponent or the game.
Arsenal leveled things 1-1 in the 42nd minutes which was from the penalty spot scored by Bukayo Saka who brought his side back into the encounter for the night.
Manchester City settled for a 1-1 scoreline heading into the break against Arsenal who couldn’t make anything happen much for themselves in the encounter.
Second Half Report
The second half had more action and also decisions which the fans were not pleased with at all time it was done by VAR and the referee.
Arsenal started well in the second half knowing they had the advantage and everybody on their side looking to see what they can do against a side who beat them earlier.
Manchester City side did all in their power but had no choice than to push more and looked to make something happen in which they constantly fail over and over in the match.
Jack Grealish gave his side the lead in the 72nd minutes of the match after a wonderful teamwork effort which saw Ilkay Gundogan made the assist that changed it 1-2.
Another followed through from Erling Haaland in the 82nd minutes of the match was written game over for the Gunners who were down and finish 1-3.
The match came to an end with Manchester City cruising away with a 1-3 victory which saw the Citizens move top of the table over Arsenal by goals different.
