Kylian Mbappe surprised everyone with his horrible miss twice for PSG Vs Montpellier, MySportDab reports.
The French forward will definitely not forget today anytime soon after missing two penalties and a freee goal rebound.
To make things worse, he got injured 20 minutes later and had to be substituted, which is another big worry for PSG.
The French club got a penalty early on against Montpellier and Mbappe decided to take it.
However, his penalty got saved but VAR said the penalty should be retaken due to players entering the penalty area.
Now, he still failed to score the second attempt and his rebound went straight outside the stadium.
Mbappe’s night then got worse as he suffered a thigh injury and had to be replaced immediately.
PSG are now very worried as they face Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League match in two weeks.
The French club did win the match without him though as Lionel Messi scored in a 3-1 victory.
PSG sealed it thanks to goals from Fabian Ruiz, Messi and Warren Zaire-Emery to put them top of the Ligue 1 table with 51 points from 21 games.
Speaking after the match, coach Christophe Galtier said the injury was due to a knock and nothing worse than a muscle problem.
‘He took a knock in the knee or the back of the thigh, tests will show us,’ said Galtier.
‘I’m not worried. It’s jus a bruise, we don’t know yet.
‘With the run of matches coming, we can’t take risks, but it doesn’t appear too serious.’
