Manchester United have now identified Tammy Abraham as another option to sign a new striker this summer, MySportDab reports.
According to The Telegraph, Manchester United have Abraham on their shortlist of strikers.
However, Napoli’s Victor Osimhenand Tottenham’s Harry Kane remain United’s main striker target.
But, if they can’t secure a deal for Osimhen or Kane, then they could try to sign former Chelsea player Abraham.
He left Chelsea in 2021 and signed for AS Roma, scoring 34 goals in 81 matches for the Serie A club.
Abraham had a good record at Chelsea, with 30 goals in 82 matches.
The 25-year-old’s experience of playing in the Premier League could be crucial to any deal.
United boss Erik ten Hag has made it clear that he wants a new top striker in the summer transfer window.
Wout Weghorst signed on loan from Burnley last month, but Anthony Martial’s injury problems are not helping.
Now, United want to strengthen their attack for next season and potentially challenge for the Premier League title.
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has already said that Osimhen isn’t for sale.
He said: ‘let me be clear, Osimhen is not for sale.
‘Many clubs want our players, but I don’t have to debts to force any sale.’
