The draws for the 2022/23 Europa League Round 16 Draws has been confirmed, MySportDab reports
After a blockbuster playoffs that pitted third-placed teams in the Champions League against second-placed teams in the Europa League the draws for the round 16 of the competiton has now been confirmed.
Leading the team’s who qualified for the round of 16 through the playoffs include Manchester United who defeated Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate to progress to round 16.
Juventus also made it to round 16 after a 5-1 aggregate win over Nantes.
Other teams who progressed via the playoffs include; Sporting CP, Shakhtar Donetsk, Bayer Leverkusen, Union Berlin and Roma.
The Group winners who automatically made it to the round 16 include Arsenal, Real Betis, Fenerbahce, Ferencvaros, Feyenoord, Freiburg, Real Sociedad and Union SG.
Union Berlin who bundled out Ajax from the tournament will face Union SG
Sevilla, who are record winners, having won the tournament for 6 times will tackle Turkish side Fenerbahce, former winner and semifinalist,
Juventus (three time winners) are paired against FC Freiburg.
Bayer Leverkusen faces Ferencvaros while Sporting CP clash with Arsenal.
Romaare paired against Real Sociedad while Shakhtar Donetsk play Feyenoord.
Manchester United, who eliminated Barcelona from the competition will tackle Real Bets.
