Manchester United Coach Erik ten Hag has now praised Marcus Rashford as one of the best strikers in Europe, MySportDab reports.
He also worked the player not to get lazy if he wants to continue with his remarkable form.
The England International scored yet again for United in the the win over Leeds at Elland Road on Sunday.
That marked his 13th goal in 15 matches across all competitions since returning from the World Cup.
He now has the best record of any footba across Europe’s top leagues.
Now, Ten Hag believes the 25-year-old is among the best in the world.
‘He’s no doubt one of the best,’ he said.
‘I knew from the first moment and became very excited to work with him. I knew he could do more.
‘He also has so many skills and potential and be even greater. When he works hard, he scores because he can score with any body part allowed.’
Rashford now has 21 goals scored for United this season, but Ten Hag wants the player to be careful.
He added: ‘You asked in August, “do you have a player in your squad that can score 20 goals”, and I said I thought he can reach there.
‘Now, if you get too comfortable, it will stop. Because satisfaction results in laziness, you must keep working every day.
‘When he keeps the focus in every game and brings the energy, he will continue scoring.
‘So I don’t know if it will ever stop, but we must take it game to game.
‘I think we have to push him as a team but finally it’s upto the player. When he can’t stay focused, the scoring won’t continue.’
