Chelsea are reportedly planning to overhaul the Blues’ squad at the end of the season with about 11 players to be axed, MySportDab reports.

Todd Boehly has spent a whooping £566m signing new players since arriving at the club as the new owner.

The Blues are now left with an over-bloated squad list and are eyeing a summer clearout to trim down the squad.

According to the the Athletic, Chelsea will trim down the squad at the end of the season to reduce their playing staff.

Daily Mail reports the intended clear-out can start with six Chelsea players that will be out of contract at the end of the season.

Five more players who will run out of contract soon are also reportedly earmarked to be cleared.

Leading the list of players that are set to leave the club is Bakayoko, who has been on loan for four seasons at the club.

Two backup goalkeepers, Marcus Bertinelli, and Nathan Baxter is also expected to exit the squad.

Ethan Amapdu, who is currently on a loan spell with Serie A club Spezia is also expected to leave the club.

Other players that could possibly be axed by the wave of the planned overhaul are Cesar Azpilicueta, Christian Pulisic, Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Mason Mount.

Chelsea were reportedly interested in renewing the Mason Mount deal but contract talks have stalled between the two parties.

Another Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will be out of contract at the end of the season and the club is struggling to renew his contract after his return from injury.

Aubamenyang has been out of favor after Graham Potter left him out of Chelsea’s Champions League squad.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Loftus Cheek have all been linked to an exit from the Blues as the club shapes up for a future under their new signings.

At the end of the season, the listed players could exit Stamford Bridge in a first major overhaul under Todd Boehly.
