Christian Eriksen has now provided an update for fans about his current injury, MySportDab reports.
The Denmark International has revealed that he’s recovering well and could return soon to play for Manchester United.
He hasn’t played for the Red Devils since January due to an injury but he might return in April.
Earlier this week, week he provided an update on his injury with a post on Instagram to show that he is working outside.
Now, the 31-year-old must continue his rehabilitation outside.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Eriksen said:
‘Yeah, it is going smoothly. I just started being outside with football boots on.
‘And then we go from there, that’s the next step. I have been in the gym and now we must do the next rehab session outside.’
Ahead of United’s match against Fulham last week, Coach Erik ten Hag: ‘He can’t play on Sunday, but he will be ready in April.
‘He’s close to coming back.’
Eriksen has played 31 matches for United across all competitions so far during his first season at the club.
He did miss the Carabao Cup final win against Newcastle, where United ended their trophy drought.
Also, he will now return to help United win in the Europa League and the FA Cup.
Ten Hag’s side are now in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, and must now face Sevilla.
Manchester United are currently third place in the Premier League and will likely finish this season in that position.
