Manchester United Coach Erik Ten Hag has now provided an injury update on Marcel Sabitzer, MySportDab reports.
The Bayern Munich player will miss Manchester United’s next match against Real Betis on Thursday.
Sabitzer joined the Red Devils on loan from Bayern Munich in January until the end of the season and he’s played seven games so far.
However, he won’t be available for the Real Betis match in the Europa League.
Speaking to MUTV, Ten Hag said: “We have a strong team that should be good. The only issue is that Sabitzer and Martial won’t be in the squad.
“Anthony Martial is back training, but we will see. Meanwhile, everyone else is available and ready for the match.”
However, Victor Lindelof could make his return from injury after missing the trip to Anfield, while Casemiro is also available despite suffering a knock against Liverpool.
Also, Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek remain unavailable.
Martial has barely played this season and last started a match in the Manchester derby on January 14.
The forward has suffered various injuries such as hamstring, Achilles, back and hip problems.
The 27-year-old has now returned for individual training sessions and is unlikely to play until after the international break.
