FT: Argentina 7-0 Curacao, Messi Hits First-half HAT-TRICK! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Lionel Messi hit a first half hat-trick as Argentina pummelled Curacao by 7-0 international friendly, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The World Champions were in top of their game against Curacao from the start, wielding total control of proceedings.

Argentina

Lionel Messi was on fire for Argentina, scoring three goals in a first half which ended with a rout.

The PSG star opened the scoring for the Albiceleste in the 20th minute before Gonzalez doubled the lead three minutes later to set the Argentines on course to victory.

Lionel Messi scored again in the 33rd minute to bag his brace as the Argentina continued on their first half scoring spree.

Fernandez made it 4-0 in the 35th minute, just two minutes after Lionel Messi’s goal.

The Argentines were no match for Curacao who were overwhelmed and clueless throughout the game.

Argentina’s last three goals in the first half were separated by two minutes each; from the 33rd minute to 37th minute, the World Champions hurled in three goals.

Lionel Messi hit the last goal in the first half to complete his first-half hat-trick as the team smash a 5-0 first-half win before the half-time whistle.

Second Half Report

Curacao seems to have gotten themselves back after the first-half drubbing.

Argentina

They held off the Argentines and did not concede goals further until the 78th minute when the conceded a penalty and Di Maria scored the spot-kick to make it 6-0.

In the 87th minute, Montiel scored again for the Argentines as they ran out 7-0 winners over Curacao after the final whistle.
