France thrashed the Netherlands 4-0 in their Euro 2024 qualifications match, MySportDab reports.
Kylian Mbappe had a wonderful game as captain of the national team which he was also able to make something happen with a brace.
First Half Report
It was an incredible half for the home side who made sure they dominated play and scoring goals all through the 45 minutes.
The Netherlands were pushed aside all through the game despite how well they started the encounter going forward and defending.
France took the lead in the 3rd minutes through a goal scored by Antoine Griezmann who was assisted by Kylian Mbappe as the scoreline turned 1-0.
Another goal followed up in the 8th minutes from Dayot Upamecano who was able to finish off and made the scoreline 2-0 for the home side as it progressed.
Kylian Mbappe made it 3-0 in the 22nd minutes of the game after a beautiful finish coming from the captain of the side going forward.
France headed inside for the break holding a 3-0 advantage against The Netherlands who couldn’t match what was going down in the 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half was brilliant as it became evenly contested and matched between both of them for the night.
The Netherlands were more organized with their playing which saw them making sure they defended well and made attempts on goal.
France struggled to hold themselves knowing they had the lead and didn’t wanted to allow anything hit them without knowing.
Kylian Mbappe made it his brace for the game after a stunning goal in the 88th minutes of the match which made things 4-0 which was another stunner for him going forward.
Memphis Depay missed a penalty as the Netherlands were thrashed 4-0 by France after 90 minutes of football played between the both of them for the night.
