Nigeria Super Eagles restore their pride as the beat Guinea-Bissau 0-1 to move back top of the group, MySportDab reports.
The goal from Simon Moses was good enough to lead the way for the victory which was well deserved by the Super Eagles.
First Half Report
The Super Eagles made sure the first half was theirs as they pressed so hard with everything they had to offer going forward.
Guinea-Bissau were dogged enough to make sure they are equal to the task which saw them having to feel the pressure coming from their opponent.
Nigeria continued dominating play but they couldn’t find any breakthrough as the game was slowly slipping away from them as they carried.
Simon Moses made it count from the penalty spot in the 30th minutes of the game which was a clear taken one which was able to make it 0-1.
The first half carried on with a lot coming but it couldn’t change the scoreline which ended with Guinea-Bissau 0-1 Nigeria after 45 minutes played between them.
Second Half Report
The second half was good for both of them who had their opportunities of making something happen all through the 45 minutes which was a tough one.
Nigeria had their advantage going forward but they couldn’t make anything happen with Victor Osimhen coming close but nothing could happen for the Napoli man.
Samuel Chukwueze had his moment in the game but the Guinea-Bissau defenders were not looking like allowing anything to go past them in the game which was very poor for them.
Nothing was able to materialized from the remaining minutes of the match which saw some wasted opportunities coming through for both teams which didn’t bring a goal.
The match ended with the Super Eagles of Nigeria claiming all the three points and 0-1 victory against Guinea-Bissau after 90 minutes played.
