Manchester City move into the next round of the UEFA Champions League thanks to Erling Haaland as they beat RB Leipzig 6-0, MySportDab reports.
Erling Haaland scored five goals in the encounter which was a ride for the Premier League side heading into the next round.
First Half Report
The first half was glorious coming from the Premier League side who had everything under control with so much dominance going forward.
RB Leipzig held on fine in the opening minutes of the first half which was all about them soaking in the pressure and doing enough going forward.
Manchester City took the lead through Erling Haaland from the penalty spot in the 23rd minutes of the game making things 1-0 which was well deserved.
Haaland made it his brace with another quick goal in the 24th minutes which saw the scoreline immediately increased to 2-0 as they carried on against each other.
Another goal was recorded in the 45th minutes plus added time which was able to make the scoreline between them 3-0 as the game continued.
The first half between Manchester City and RB Leipzig came to an end with a 3-0 advantage for the home side after 45 minutes of football played between them both.
Second Half Report
The second half was sharp from the away side who looked hungry after they went inside for the break behind with two goals.
Manchester City wasted no time in adding another goal in the 49th minutes which came through llkay Gundogan who finished off swiftly to make the scoreline 4-0.
RB Leipzig were gone beyond coming back in the game as they looked better in the early minutes of the second half before conceding the fourth and fifth from Haaland in the 54th as 5-0.
Erling Haaland scored his 5th goal for the night in the 57th minutes of the game making the scoreline 6-0 as they pushed on further against themselves.
Kevin De Bruyne scored a late one as Manchester City claimed a 7-0 victory against RB Leipzig and 8-1 in aggregate to advance into the next round.
