FT: Manchester United 0-0 Southampton, Casemiro Sent OFF! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Manchester United held Southampton to a goalless 0-0 scoreline in an English Premier League game, MySportDab reports.

Casemiro didn’t have a good outing in the match which saw him receiving a red card after a review from VAR.

First Half Report 

The first half of the match wasn’t favorable for the Old Trafford side who did more than enough from their end going forward.

Manchester United started well by dominating play going forward as they were looking to take the lead which didn’t work out for them no matter how hard they try.

Southampton did exceptionally well from their end making sure they held things down despite the pressure that was faced as the match continued.

Things went bad in the 34th minutes of the game which saw Casemiro being sent off after receiving a straight red card resulting to the home side going down 10-man.

Manchester United were able to keep things down as the first half came to an end with them playing a 0-0 goalless draw against Southampton in the 45 minutes.

Second Half Report 

The second half of the match wasn’t too bad coming from both teams who did more than enough from their end trying to make something happen.

Southampton had all the advantage to their side but they couldn’t make any of it count despite knowing they had more players on the pitch.

Manchester United with the disadvantage still had more of the ball but they weren’t looking to play it quick so they don’t lose any space left for Casemiro.

Nothing else changed the shoreline which stayed 0-0 as they approached the remaining 10 minutes left to be played with the scoreline the same.

Manchester United ended the match with one point after playing a 0-0 goalless result against Southampton who failed to make use of their one man advantage.
