Arsenal keep title hopes after playing Southampton a 3-3 draw at the Emirates, MySportDab reports
The Gunners were able to make a stunning comeback in what saw them coming from 1-3 down to end the match 3-3.
First Half Report
Incredible stuff happened in the first half of the game which saw the away side showing so much in their play going forward.
Arsenal started the game so well but it was Alcaraz who scored in the first minutes of the game which saw the away side taking a 0-1 advantage.
Southampton were hungry and wasted no time in adding to their advantage in the 14th minutes through a wonderful goal from Theo Walcott to make it 0-2.
The Gunners looked out of place as the match carried on until Gabriel Martinelli pulled one goal back in the 20th minutes to make things 1-2.
The goal was the last action in the first half which saw Southampton taking a 1-2 lead into the break after an entertaining one against Arsenal at the Emirates.
Second Half Report
The second half of the match was brilliant as they both came in looking for different objectives to compliment what they did in the first 45 minutes.
Arsenal were the better of both teams, but they couldn’t find a way of making anything happen early despite all their pressure.
Southampton were good doing the defending and making sure they didn’t concede as the match carried on hitting the one hour mark with so much happening.
Duje Caleta-Car made it 1-3 with a brilliant header in the 66th minute of the encounter which saw the Saints strolling as the match pushed on to the final stages.
The Gunners scored in the 88th minutes of the match with a sweet goal from Martin Odegaard who had help from Ben White to make it 2-3.
Bukayo Saka scored a late goal which saw Arsenal keeping their title hopes alive ending the match with a 3-3 draw against Southampton.
