FT: Manchester City 4-1 Arsenal, Citizens ‘SINK’ Gunners Title Hope! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Manchester City put themselves in front of the title after a convincing 4-1 victory against Arsenal, MySportDab reports.

The Gunners had themselves to blame after failing to make sure they kept everything calm all through the encounter.

First Half Report 

The first half was for the home side who had everything under control going forward with so much at stake for both teams.

Manchester City wasted no time in making their statement with a stunner from Kevin De Bruyne who made the scoreline 1-0 in the 7th minutes of the game.

Arsenal were not that bad in the match despite going down so early in the game which saw them fighting so hard to make a comeback which failed to come at once.

The match remained the same as they entered the 40th minutes with five more left to be played on normal time between both sides for the night of Premier League football.

John Stones extended the advantage to 2-0 in added time which put so much more pressure on the visiting side as they advance.

Manchester City headed inside for the break with a 2-0 advantage against Arsenal after an amazing 45 minutes of football between the both of them.

Second Half Report 

The second half started with so much pace coming from both teams who looked so much alive going forward in attacking.

All the pressure was on Arsenal to make something happen which was looking difficult the more they try to find a breakthrough in the encounter.

De Bruyne increased the advantage in the 54th minutes increasing things to 3-0 for Manchester City who continued to dominate play as the match carried on.

The Gunners scored a consolation in the 86th minutes through Rob Holding with assist coming from Leandro Trossard to make it 3-1.

Erling Haaland scored the killer in the added time which saw the scoreline become massive 4-1 as they pushed on forward.

Manchester City ended the match making sure they sink Arsenal title hopes by beating them 4-1 which meant they need to win their game at hand to move top.
