Manchester City thrashed Southampton 1-4 with Erling Haaland scoring a brace, MySportDab reports.
Erling Haaland completed his 30th goal for the Premier League season which have been a good one for him.
First Half Report
The first half was good for both teams who did a lot representing their side of the pitch to ensure something good happen.
Manchester City were unlucky in the early minutes of the game which saw them unable to make anything of sort happen despite the opportunities.
Southampton held on fine for themselves as they made sure defending wasn’t a difficult task with them doing more than enough to stay fighting.
The goal came late in the 45th minutes of the game which saw Erling Haaland finishing off with an assist from Kevin De Bruyne which made it 0-1.
Manchester City took a 0-1 advantage heading into the break against Southampton who didn’t do too bad based on how they have been this season.
Second Half Report
The second half was where all the action happened as the away side resumed with an early goal scored by Jack Grealish in the 58th to make it 0-2.
Manchester City dominated the whole game making sure they do a lot which immediately saw Erling Haaland getting his brace in the 68th minutes to make it 0-3.
Southampton were still fighting so much in the match which saw them scored one goal to make it 1-3 in the 72nd minutes with Sekou Mara getting the better end.
Julian Alvarez made it 1-4 in the 75th minute from the penalty spot which saw the home side committing a foul that the World Cup winner converted.
The match came to an end with Manchester City taking on a 1-4 victory against Southampton who continued with their horrible season staying 20th on the table of the Premier League.
