Roberto Firmino is set for a summer exit from Liverpool to Barcelona, MySportDab reports.
The Liverpool forward was offered a chance to stay at Anfield with a contract extension off but had turned it down.
He is ready to exit Liverpool at the end of the season when his contract with the Reds comes to an end.
The Brazil international will see his eight years spell with the Premier League giants end after this current campaign.
Now, Daily Mail confirms Roberto Firmino has agreed to join Barcelona on a free transfer when his spell with Liverpoo ends.
This means the prolific forward who has fallen out of favor under Jurgen Klopp will be a Barcelona player next season.
Meanwhile, details of his contract with Barcelona are yet to be revealed but his decision to leave Anfield has been linked to his struggle this season to make Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup.
In his eight years spell with Liverpool, Firmino has proved a resourceful striker in Liverpool’s success stories under Jurgen Klopp.
He has won the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Community Shield, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup with the Reds.
This season, he has managed 23 Premier League appearances for Liverpool with most of his appearances coming from the bench.
He has hit 9 goals and 4 assists in the Premier League for the Reds, including 2 Champions League goals in 8 appearances for the club.
Firmino started to slip off the pecking order at Liverpool when Jurgen Klopp signed the likes of Darwin Nunez and Gody Gakpo in the last transfer window.
In his his eight years spell with the club, Firmino has 109 goals in 360 games for Liverpool.
He will now be playing in his last game for the club when the the Reds’ 2022/23 season finally comes to an end on May 20.
