Vincent Kompany is now being added to the short list for Chelsea managerial job, MySportDab reports.
The Burnley manager has been doing exceptionally well after helping his side return back to the Premier League.
Chelsea are now considering taking Vincent Kompany as their coach ahead of the new season if everything goes well.
The former defender is now at his second job since retiring from his active playing career which ended with Anderlecht.
Chelsea isn’t the only side linked with a move for the Burnley coach as Tottenham are also following the whole situation now.
The former Manchester City captain have joined former Paris Saint Germain as the short list of possible coach taking over.
There is also a mysterious name which is yet unknown to the media as the Chelsea owners are taking their time to get a new coach.
Julian Nagelsmann is the latest to pull out of the race as the senior players at Stamford Bridge are not interested in having him as coach.
Meanwhile Luis Enrique already pulled out of the race as he isn’t considered good enough to take over things.
Chelsea search is spread wide as they hope to get someone who can do a better job following Graham Potter sack.
Frank Lampard is currently taking over things on an interim basis which gives him until end of the season to leave.
There are also feelings amongst those at Stamford Bridge that Jose Mourinho could be the one to take over.
But the Roma boss is happy with his current job and not looking to make any move happen for now and not even Chelsea.
