Frank Lampard Confirms Chelsea Exit Plan!

Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has confirmed his exit plans as he braces up for Chelsea exit at the end of the season, MySportDab reports.

Lampard will leave the Blues’ dugout after his last game with the club on Sunday with Mauricio Pochettino lined up to take over from him.

Speaking with Sky Sport ahead of his imminent exit, Lampard confirmed plans on how he will manage his post-Chelsea era.

He maintained he will continue to keep in touch with the club as it is not a complete goodbye, especially to the fans who have stood by him.

He also added he will hope to leave Chelsea on a high note after what appeared to be a low in his second managerial stint with the club.

”I live close enough to the stadium and I will be back at Chelsea many times.

“When you take on a managerial career, it doesn’t mean you’re going to be at a club you had 13 years at as a player forever.

”I’m quite calm about that, not too nostalgic but I certainly appreciate the fans’ support and I will appreciate it on Sunday.

”But more than anything, I would love to give them a performance to take away for the summer and eel a bit more positive about,” he said.

Lampard will play his last game against Newcastle United on Sunday.

Lampard’s second stint with the Blues as manager has been disastrous.

He has managed just four points from his eight games with the club, including a capitulating 4-1 defeat to Manchester United in the last game.

Chelsea will hope to fix things under new manager Mauricio Pochettino next season and return to winning ways.
