Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United in the final game of the Premier League, MySportDab reports.
Frank Lampard ended his short spell with a 1-1 draw which saw him only recording one victory since taking over as interim coach.
First Half Report
Both teams had a fair share of the first half which saw a lot happening from both ends as they pushed with everything going forward.
Chelsea came in the match knowing all hope is lost for the season as they won’t be making the UEFA Champions League and other European competition next season.
Newcastle United on the other hand were pleased to have enjoyed a massive season which saw them starting the game well with a 1-0 lead in the 9th minutes from Anthony Gordon.
The Blues did well enough for a fightback which they pushed with everything they had to offer before getting the leveler through an own-goal from Kieran Trippier to make it 1-1 in the 27th minutes.

Second Half Report
The second half of the match was a brilliant one which saw a lot more coming from both teams who wanted to make something more happen going forward.
Newcastle United maintained a good composure as they look to secure back their lead which was taken away from them after a blunder from Kieran Trippier in the first half.
The game continued for Chelsea who already made three substitutions to make sure they are able to breath in some changes in their game as everything progressed.
The game entered the 80th minutes mark and still nothing to separate both teams who continued pushing to make sure something productive came out from the match.
The game ended with Chelsea playing a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United to end their season which have been a total failure from all end.
