Chelsea were unable to overcome Nottingham Forest who held them to a 2-2 draw at their home ground, MySportDab reports.

Raheem Sterling and Taiwo Awoniyi both scored a brace each for their sides over an amazing 90 minutes of football played between them.

First Half Report

The home side did dominate the ball possession in the first half of the game but couldn’t make any attempt going forward.

Chelsea were poor in breaking down their opponent who has some good defending job which they held on so well making sure nothing went past them in the game.

Nottingham Forest took the lead from their first attack which saw Taiwo Awoniyi header making the scoreline 0-1 as the match carried on between them both.

The goal couldn’t have happen if Edouard Mendy was quick instead of coming for the ball late which resulted in him not getting a chance against saving it at the end.

The first half ended with Nottingham Forest taking a 0-1 lead into the break against Chelsea who couldn’t make anything tangible from all their ball possession.

Second Half Report

The second half had Frank Lampard making some little changes in his tactics hoping to see his players also show some improvement as the game continued.

Chelsea pulled back level 1-1 in the 51st minutes of the match which came from Raheem Sterling who was assisted by Trevoh Chalobah as the game pushed on.

Sterling gave the Blues the lead in the 58th minutes of the match which this time saw the scoreline turning 2-1 as things tuned against Nottingham Forest.

Taiwo Awoniyi made the scoreline 2-2 in the 62nd minutes of the game ensuring his side came back fighting after just going down in the match.

The game pushed on with nothing else as Nottingham Forest played a 2-2 draw against Chelsea who couldn’t make it another victory for themselves again.
