Manchester City played out a 1-0 victory against Chelsea as they seal Premier League title for the 2022-23 season, MySportDab reports.
They made it their third consecutive Premier League title after the game which was am amazing one coming from the home team.
First Half Report
The first half was a good one coming from both teams going forward, it was more for the home side who did a lot in the 45 minutes.
Chelsea had a clean 10 minutes in the encounter which they were pressed all through and couldn’t make anything happen from their end.
Manchester City scored in the 12th minutes of the match with a goal that came from Julian Alvarez which was able to make the scoreline 1-0 as they continued.
It was a sided affair which Pep Guardiola was glad to have his young players getting the job done and being able to dominate the match as things carried on forward.
Manchester City took into the break their 1-0 lead against Chelsea after 45 minutes which was a tie that the visitors were lucky not to have leveled things when it was needed.
Second Half Report
The second half kicked off in good fashion as both teams continued to do as much as possible going forward in the encounter which was calm.
Manchester City did well enough in keeping the scoreline the same as the game continued with them pushing with all their can afford going forward.
Chelsea came close to getting the leveler, but John Stones was quick to clear out Raheem Sterling goal bound ball after beating the a defender and goalkeeper.
Julian Alvarez scored in the 71st minutes of the game but thanks to VAR the goal was ruled out as an handball for Riyad Mahrez leading to the goal.
Manchester City needed nothing much as the ended the match 1-0 against Chelsea helping them cement their Premier League title for the 2022-23 season after 90 minutes.
