Manchester United claimed a 2-0 victory against Wolves in their Premier League clash, MySportDab reports.
Anthony Martial and Alejandro Garnacho scored the goals which ensured the Old Trafford club kept their Champions League hopes alive for next season.
First Half Report
The home side did dominate the 45 minutes in the first half of the game and did made something happen going forward.
Wolves well in breaking down their opponent but the good defending job helped the home side held on so well making sure nothing went past them in the game.
The game kept on going with Manchester United doing enough to see them maintain more of the ball while trying to make sure they score but it failed for them.
Anthony Martial had the help of Antony which help them in taking the lead in the 32nd minutes of the match which made things between them 1-0 as they pushed on.
The first half ended with Manchester United taking a 1-0 lead into the break against Wolves who gave a good account of themselves despite the scoreline.
Second Half Report
The second half making some little changes from both managers who had their dressing room talk before coming on for the remaining part of the game.
Wolves did so much going forward in the second half which could have given them something, but their finishing wasn’t just good enough.
Manchester United also had some opportunities of their own which they couldn’t take to make sure they doubled their advantage as things pushed forward.
No goal happened as they hit the 90 minutes mark playing for extra time until Alejandro Garnacho scored a late stunner which was able to make it 2-0.
Manchester United claimed all three points beating Wolves 2-0 to make sure they level Newcastle on points and also stay put in the top four and Champions League cut.
