With the home advantage, they steered themselves to a narrow 1-0 win over the Blues with a lone goal from Matheus Nunes.
The Portugal international scored a sensational goal that separated both sides as the Molineux Stadium.
After a goal mouth scramble, Matheus Nunes rushed in from the right to fired in a left-footed volley pass Kepa to give Wolves the lead.
The goal was enough to hand Wolves a big win over Chelsea and improve their Premier League League survival chances.
It is the first time Matheus Nunes has win the Premier League goal of the month and a testament to his legendary career with Wolves.
Nunes has been an integral part of Wolves first team and has won Wolves player of the month a number of times.
