Chelsea star, N’Golo Kante has broken his silence on his Chelsea future, MySportDab reports.

The France international has been a subject of transfer talks as his Chelsea contract comes to an end in the summer.

There have been hiccups in the contract renewal talks between Chelsea and Kante and nothing has been agreed upon with his contract ending in a few weeks.

Chelsea are eager to extend N’Golo Kante’s contract but the deadlock in the negotiation process has been on the duration of the proposed new contract.

Due to Kante’s niggling injury problems and age factor, the Blues are reportedly not keen on offering a new contract with a longer duration.

According to reports, N’Golo Kante was offered a two-year new contract but the French midfielder rejected it.

Amidst the contract renewal deadlock, he has been linked to a summer exit from the club as his old contract comes to an end at the end of the season.

He has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Barcelona with the two clubs interested in signing him in the summer.

However, N’Golo Kante’s Chelsea future has been laid to rest amid speculations of a summer exit.

When asked by Sky Sport if he will stay at Chelsea, Kante said;

“For sure, it is an exciting project.

”Unfortunately this season hasn’t been to Chelsea’s standards. But everyone wants to go in this way, the way of success and winning titles.”

Kante, 31, joined Chelsea from Leicester City in 2016 and has been an integral part of Chelsea’s first team.

He won the Premier League and Champions League with the club, scoring 13 goals in his 269 appearances.

He is offered a two-year contract with an option of a one-year extension which will see him stay at Stamford Bridge till 2025 or 2026.
