Moises Caicedo

Chelsea are vigorously pursuing a deal to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton, MySportDab reports.

There were reports the club were plotting to swap some players for Moises Caicedo to sign the Brighton midifield sensation and force Brighton to sell the player.

Making Chelsea list of players reportedly said to be used in the player-plus-cash offer to Brighton was Armando Broja and Connor Gallagher.

The purported player-plus-cash offer was intended to force Brighton’s hand to sell the player to the Blues.

Now, reports reaching from Fabrizio Romano has confirmed both Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja are not involved in Chelsea’s talks with Brighton to sign Moises Caicedo.

Chelsea have confirmed a list of 13 players that will leave the club this summer with Connor Gallagher and Armando Broja not included in the list.

The Blues are eager to keep Conor Gallagher against next season with Mauricio Pochettino to take his decision on his squad soon.

Also Armando Broja has just returned from his season-long injury and is ready for action with the club.

New Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly ready to work with Broja next season hence the future of the player is assured.

Chelsea are now purely negotiating only a single cash offer for Moises Caicedo and there are no plan to opt for a swap deal.

We understand Brighton are ready to let Moises Caicedo leave but on the right offer.

Last season, the Seagulls rejected two bids from Arsenal for Moises Caicedo but will sell the player this season with the right offer.
