Chelsea have reached full agreement with Moises Caicedo on personal terms, MySportDab reports.
In a positive move for the London club in their chase of Caicedo, they have now finally settled on personal terms with Caicedo and will move on to the next stage of the deal.
After the agreement on personal terms, Chelsea are expected to settle with the transfer fee as demanded by Brighton for Caicedo.
Brighton are ready to let Moises Caicedo leave but are demanding an offer in excess of £80m for the player.
Chelsea have submitted a £60m offer for the Ecuadorian midfield sensation but it has been turned down.
The Blues are expected to table another bid for the player to force through a move.
After the rejected bid, Chelsea reportedly ramp up negotiations and talks with Brighton to find a way out but it is understood the Seagulls will not budge a bit in their demand for Caicedo.
Any bid that is likely to force the club to sell Moises Caicedo will likely be in excess of the £80m demanded by Brighton.
Chelsea’s move for Moises Caicedo became imperative following the mass exodus of first team players from the team this summer.
Chelsea midfield have lost the likes of Mateo Kovacic to Man City, Hakim Ziyech to Al Nassr, with Mason Mount linked to a move to Manchester United and Kai Havertz set to complete a move to Arsenal.
Meanwhile the club have signed Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal and are expected to make Moises Caicedo as their next signing this summer.
