Chelsea Reject Man United First Bid For Mason Mount!

Chelsea have rejected Manchester United first bid for Mason Mount, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils are keen on signing the prolific attacking midfielder as they prepare for the Premier League challenge next season.

Reports reaching from Fabrizo Romano confirms the Red Devils have tabled a £40m bid for Mason Mount.

This first offer by the Old Trafford club is far below Chelsea’s valuation of the player.

Chelsea wants between £70m to £80m Mason Mount before agreeing to part ways with Mason Mount.

Today, Manchester United have tabled half of the value as reported by Fabrizio Romano but the bid has been rejected by Chelsea.

MySportDab understand Manchester United are leading contenders to sign Mason Mount this summer.

Liverpool have dropped out of the race for Mason Mount as they are reluctant to pay the £80m price tag set by Chelsea for the player.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have agreed personal terms with the midfielder but will have to meet Chelsea’s valuation of the player to sign him.

Chelsea are ready to sell Mason Mount but sources close to the club have revealed the Blues will not hesitate to keep the player if they don’t have the right offers.

Mason Mount has only one year remaining in his Chelsea contract and will leave after next season as a free agent.

Mount has been at loggerheads with Chelsea over a new contract proposal that has not met his demand.

The England star want a significant pay rise up to £250,000 weekly before he could sign a new deal win the club.

Chelsea have offered him a one-year contract extension proposal after which a new deal with an improved offer could be made but Mount has rejected the offer.

As things stand, Manchester United are expected to submit an improved offer for Mason Mount with the midfielder ready to leave the Blues this summer following the contract faceoff.
