Spain claimed the UEFA Nations League 2022-23 title after beating Croatia 4-5 on penalties, MySportDab reports.
Dani Carvajal scored the penalty kick which ensured his national team side were able to claim the needed victory to lift the title.
First Half Report
The first half of the match was brilliant coming from both Nations who did not find it easy going into the final.
Croatia started well by giving so much going forward in the game which saw them almost making it count at some point but it didn’t went well.
Spain had a lot from their end and it wasn’t as free as they expected the game which entered the 20 minutes mark with still nothing coming from them going forward.
No goal for them despite the game entering the 40th minutes with nothing still coming from them despite all they had to do to make sure a goal happen.
The first half ended with Croatia and Spain playing a goalless scoreline 0-0 which was good from them with nothing special happening all through.
Second Half Report
The second half was another one which both teams picked up from where they left the first 45 minutes which they had a lot to do.
Spain were eager to make something out of the game as they continue to push from all position and hoping they could get the opening goal of the match.
It wasn’t an open game for both teams as Croatia were comfortable doing a lot to keep themselves in the game as the scoreline stayed goalless.
They both ended the 90 minutes with a 0-0 goalless scoreline which saw them both heading for extra time of 30 minutes after being unable to get the winner of the game.

They both did a lot to make something happen in the match which wasn’t happening despite how hard they pushed.
At the end of the extra time, it was still nothing able to separate the both of them who had to settle the score via penalties.

Both sides started the penalties so well that they scored their first three spot kicks before the Croatians missed and later on Spaniards missed.
Dani Carvajal scored the last penalty after Croatia miss ensure Spain lifted the UEFA Nations League after playing 4-5 on penalties which was tensed between them both.
