FT: Manchester City 1-0 Inter, Citizens Win 1st UCL Title! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Manchester City claimed their first Champions League title after beating Inter Milan 1-0 in the final match, MySportDab reports.

Rodri was the man who delivered the title for the Premier League side who succeeded in their second try as they win their first ever Champions League.

First Half Report

The first half of the game was a lot cagey with both teams doing a lot from their end but couldn’t make anything good come to play.

Manchester City saw more of the ball and dominated play from their end going forward in the early stages but couldn’t get the opener.

Inter Milan were not bad themselves as they were fully involved in the match which saw them going close on a couple of occasions but failing to make anything happen.

Kevin De Bruyne was forced off in the match as it carried on without the Belgian who was removed due to an injury he sustained which saw Phil Foden coming on.

Manchester City and Inter Milan played out a 0-0 scoreline after 45 minutes of football between the both of them which saw a lot happening but no goal to report.

Second Half Report

The second half started well for both teams who came in firing from both ends and looking to make something happen as they pushed on.

It was all about Manchester City doing as much as possible to make their advantage on the ball count for something in the second half of the match.

Inter Milan were good with their defending hitting the one hour mark with the scoreline still goalless and nothing to separate them from each other going forward.

Rodri scored in the 68th minutes of the match to enable his side take the much needed advantage 1-0 as the match carried on between them for the night of football.

Manchester City ended the match 1-0 against Inter Milan which saw them being able to lift their first UEFA Champions League title in their history after trying for the second time.
