Luka Modric scored as Croatia book their Nations League final ticket after beating the Netherlands 2-4, MySportDab reports.
The Croatians needed to take the game to extra time before being able to get the job done despite having to come from behind in the second-half.
First Half Report
Both teams came into the first half of the UEFA Nations League semifinal to make sure they make something happen by all means.
Croatia did well enough in making sure they were setup to stop their opponent from breaking them down and make something happen.
The Netherlands were equally in the game doing from their end what needed to be done to ensure they could make a goal happen which was impossible as they carried on.
Donyell Malen scored in the 34th minutes and the game to make the scoreline 1-0 for the Orange men who continued to dominate the entire game.
Croatia were unable to make a comeback as the first half came to an end with the Netherlands taking a 1-0 advantage into the break.
Second Half Report
The second half was evenly balanced coming from both sides who did well enough to get goal for themselves going forward.
Croatia leveled the scoreline in the 55th minutes of the game after a penalty which was well converted by Andrej Kramaric who was able to make things 1-1.
The Netherlands were stunned after the game which saw them unable to close down quickly before conceding another one in the 73rd minutes from Mario Pasalic to make it 1-2.
A late goal from Noa Lang made the scoreline 2-2 as they both headed inside awaiting another extra time of 30 minutes after both teams failed to get a winner.
Extra Time Report
The extra time was brilliant coming from both teams who did so much and well enough looking for the lead which wasn’t easy.
Bruno Petkovic scored in the 98th minutes to ensure they Croatians retook their lead in the match which also made the scoreline 2-3.
Luka Modric made the scoreline 2-4 in the 116th minutes which saw him putting good use of his penalty which killed any hopes from their opponent.
